Ha, what a fun tribal that one was! Some thoughts of it all to eventually come...but first, some very interesting conversations...

richardyul: I think she voted Deighton.
richardyul: But...she doesn't hold it against me (or you, I think) for voting for Conny.

onetz53: you could really make a case that it'd be best to go either way

richardyul: Again, I don't necessarily want to argue one way yet...but Chelsea basically told me that she was lying to Skylar that she would go to the F3 with him and Zoe, but she actually wants F3 with you and me.

onetz53: yeah and I don't know what the deal is with Donna, Sammy, and Deighton...I know Donna and Sammy are tight since they've been together the whole game, but I'm kinda concerned that they might have a tie to Deighton

richardyul: So if I told you I had a huge, deep, dark secret in this game, would you promise not to betray me and we would still stick together?

richardyul: So the details of it, just to clarify: I have to post if I want to use it as I cast my vote and it's good up through the F5 TC.

richardyul: But the good thing is...say we get to the F5--I plan to play the idol no matter what.

richardyul: Interestingly enough, Chelsea would rather Sammy be gone.

richardyul: We do indeed...right now, it looks to me like we should definitely think about getting Sammy out, then perhaps Deighton...it's all about doing this and getting only as few people mad as possible.

richardyul: Yeah...the ace-in-the-hole, though, is the hidden idol.
richardyul: Because either they let me in on wanting to vote you out at F5, in which case I give you the idol...OR I play the idol just in case.
richardyul: Because if Chelsea, for some reason, suddenly wanted you out, then she'd tell me.

...where am I? What's going on? Ahhhhhhh.

So Rich has the idol. I KNEW IT! I got momentarily thrown off the scent with the last challenge's Deighton-fiasco, but I KNEW Rich had it. Just had a feeling. I'm glad he told me, because I think it definitely removes any stray feelings of paranoia I might have had with him. He's got to trust someone a LOT to tell that someone he found the idol. So I think it's cool that me and Rich have this kind of brotherly bond in this game...It's worked for each of us thus far...

So Conny was shocked. And mad. Rightfully so on both counts. And she seems to be realllly mad at Rich. Good. Very good. I love Rich, but he definitely needs to get some more battle wounds if I have a chance in the world at beating him in a jury vote.

I have no idea what the next move will be. I thought for sure that voting Conny out was the pivotal move for me and Rich...not the next vote! Zoe, Skylar, and Chelsea are on one side; Deighton, Donna, and Sammy are on the other.

This could get tricky.

What Sky said...it's definitely stuff I've thought about. Maybe it's good to hear it directly from a fellow player. I often wonder if I've 'done enough' to win over a jury...or 'done enough' over what others have 'done'...others like Deighton, Donna/Sammy, or Rich, mainly. I mean I dunno, I think Sky definitely exaggerated the whole "everyone hates Tom" thing, but it also got me wondering if I truly will be able to win this game when it's all said and done...

One thing's for sure though, there's not even a chance I'll even be able to FACE a jury if I vote with Skylar. So for now, I must vote how I must vote...and however far I make it, it shall be the best I could do...
