Finished the challenge wayyy before any other tribe. I don't care how many penalties are incurred; I very seriously doubt we could have lost.
So Conny and Scott were almost incompetent at the challenge...Chel and I had to coach them through. I'm not sure who was worse though. During organizational stuff, Conny actually had the nerve to leave the chat and claim that organization wasn't important or necessary. I kinda wanted to avoid double posting, but whatever Conny...
And Scott. Oh God. He like, freaked out because Deighton said he'd vote for Scott if we lost. Of course, he barely helped us win...it took him forever to figure out how the hell to post an image in a forum. Oh, and apparently he's homophobic; I've heard he wants to vote Josh out just because he's gay.
As of right now, I'm aligned with Jonty, Chel, and Josh. I feel pretty secure, but I'm almost positive Chel has some cross-tribe alliance, which I'm not okay with. Jonty just a frantic, conniving person, so I can't trust her fully. Whatever, that's okay. I like Josh a lot though; he's cool and remind me a lot of my real life friends.
Deighton's a little weird, I'm not even sure what the name of the eighth person on my tribe is...Andrew? I think? Whatever, I haven't even talked to him.

And we won the challenge, but of course, I should have realized to expect the unexpected in Survivor: we're still going to Tribal Council. I'm actually not too upset; I'm glad we got the clues to the Hidden Immunity Idol forum, and unless I'm an utter moron, won't be leaving at this tribal council.
But my options are many. Right now, I'm weighing between voting Scott or Andy out. I know I could sway my alliance to vote for either one, and my reasoning is this. If we vote Scott, it would be because he's homophobic and wants to vote Josh off simply because he's gay. I mean, come on, I've got a ton of gay friends, and seriously...Josh's sexuality shouldn't even matter. So Scott's basically a bigot.
But without Scott, as incompetent as he was at the challenge, we may not have won. I don't know if we can afford to lose someone who can help out with challenges, especially if we need a certain number of people to work on challenges. If I decide that's the case, then I'll have to reluctantly vote Andy because he's the least active.
I think, though, I'm gonna have to take the moral high road and vote out Scott. I can't play the game with someone who's gonna vote off my alliance member because he's gay. Scott made this game personal, and I just can't handle that.

Haha, well, I guess I get to be the diabolical one this episode. I gave Deighton some reasons for voting Scott out, the least of which was (I thought) Scott said that Deighton wanted him out. Of course, Deighton takes this information and confronts Scott with it. Scott, being Scott, runs immediately back to me and goes, "Oh, Richard! What shall I do?" I calmed him down, made him comfortable, and prepared to shoot him. Ever read Of Mice and Men? I'm George and he's Lenny.
Sorry Scott, it's for your own good.

Okay, well, right about now I couldn't care less who goes home. I found the freakin' Hidden Immunity Idol! Oh my god, I am ectastic...and of course, I plan to tell nobody. Not even my dear alliance member Josh. He's the closest person to me so far, but I can't risk losing the power I hold with the hidden Idol.
Ohmygod, Day 2 and I already hold the power to change this game around totally. Now I hope I can act cool and not tip anyone off...because then they'll do everything they can to get rid of it. Man, this Idol is my ticket. I was sure of my capabilities to do well in this game before, but it never, ever hurts to have a little extra assurance in the game of Survivor.
I am on top of the world. Day 2, and I'm sittin' pretty with the Hidden Immunity Idol. Haha!
