Sammy
1st Vote:
Chelsea
2nd Vote:
Deighton
Reason for 1st vote:
There's a clear alliance between Chelsea, Tom and Richard. If Chelsea survives this council, Skylar and whoever else survives will be the next two voted out, and the game will take a boring turn, regardless of it being the Final 3. She's also extremely strong in the challenges and needs to be taken out as soon as possible.
Reason for 2nd vote:
Deighton's a great kid, but he's not in the game anymore. He doesn't want to fight to stay alive [or so he says] and while the immunity challenge was going on he completely gave up for a short while. He wanted to get out because he didn't want to fight for a lost cause. He lost hope, and for me that's not what Survivor is about. Even against the world, there's always a chance you can come back and overcome, and he doesn't seem to have that drive anymore.
Question:
Sammy, What are you basing your votes on tonight? Are you feeling extra vulnerable now that 2 people are leaving this round? What do u make of this surprise double boot? Who is the biggest threat left in the game?
Answer:
The same thing I'm basing my vote on from last round. Everyone's a threat in their own way.
I feel extremely vulnerable because Skylar and Tom are immune through both votes this council, which makes me jealous. Four people are vulnerable and two of them are going home. That's a 50/50 chance of going home. I hate this "surprise," though, because it's like BOOM! Final 7 then BOOM! Final 5. It's a huge part of the game and it really shows where everyone stands as far as their alliances. This was a good way to see who you could trust just enough make it into the next round and who has actually been lying to you the entire time, or most of the time, or for however long.
I don't think at this stage of the game any one person is more threatening than the other. After this council we'll be at the Final 5. You're one of five people trying to get one of those final two seats. Everyone is a threat because everyone wants to make it there, but only two of the five can make it there. It's anyone's game and the odds of making the final round are increasing greatly.
