Welcome to ¡Surv1vor Live! everyone I'm your host Cody. Today we have one of the latest people voted out of ¡Surv1vor China with us.
Cody: Josh welcome to ¡Surv1vor Live!
Josh: Thanks
Cody: So Josh you officially became the 4th person voted out of ¡Surv1vor tell me a little about the time you spent in China.
Josh: Hm.
Josh: It was fun.
Josh: This was a game that was organized very well, probably the best actually.
Josh: First game I ever had to do a confessional, so it was pretty new but fun.
Cody: Thanks Josh you know a lot of work goes into this game and its good to see someone who appreciates it. Tell me a little about your tribe Nirvana.
Josh: It was good I didn't really socialize with anyone which I think was one of the reasons I was voted out but they were great people from what I’ve seen.
Cody: You are certainly right you have to socialize to make it far in this game. When I spoke to your former tribe member Emma last week she said that Nirvana's biggest problem was a lack of socialization. Do you agree with that?
Josh: Agreed 100%
Josh: I didn't really talk to people and when I did it wasn't much.
Cody: Now some people would look at that as you trying to fly under the radar would that be correct assumption or are you just naturally quiet
Josh: I’m just naturally quiet, I wasn't around much for the challenge and only managed to capture like for things so I can't blame them for voting me out.
Cody: You did take part in the challenge, however, unlike other people. Beside the fact that you didn't really socialize, why should they vote you out over someone who didn't take part in the challenge?
Josh: I didn't even realize people didn't take part in the challenge. I guess I played the actual challenge game and other people played the social game.
Cody: You are very right and the key to this game is finding a balance between them both. What do you think about the tribal shuffle? I know there was a lot of tension between the tribes before do you think things are gonna get nasty soon?
Josh: I think it was a good idea I sure hope things get nasty I want something vicious to watch.
Cody: You never know what will happen with tribal shuffles. Which tribe do you think is gonna come out on top can Fu Mal keep up the winning streak?
Josh: Probably.
Josh: They seem to have it together and I think they'll keep it up.
Cody: When you say they have it "together" what does that mean? What does having it together mean?
Josh: It means being able to work well together and do the challenges to their best.
Josh: It doesn't seem as if they've had any problems doing well.
Cody: Well you know sometimes winning gets old and being with the same people all the time can get pretty stressful. We have seen it many times in the history of Survivor. Do you think Fu Mal will eventually get tired of winning?
Josh: No. Safety is the best thing you can have in this game and I’m sure no one will ever get tired of it no matter how much they get it.
Cody: You may be right socializing and strategy are only part of the game you have to win some challenges every now and then too. Let's say that Fu Mal does go on to win the next challenge who do you think will be the next person going home?
Josh: I really can't even say because I don't know, especially now that I know the people aren't voting off based on performance in the challenges.
Cody: I mentioned to another voted out castaway that this season that stronger people are being voted out first and you just mentioned that. Why do you think that is why vote someone out who doesn't socialize over someone who doesn't help in challenges?
Josh: Because people don't know what they're up to.
Cody: So it mostly just a feeling of uncertainty?
Josh: That and people develop friendships and you'd rather vote out someone who isn't a friend.
Cody: So if you could go back into this game and do one thing different would it be to make more friends?
Josh: Yes and not keep to myself all the time.
Cody: Well Josh I thank you for stopping by the studio today. I have really enjoyed talking to you.
Josh: Same here I wish everyone in the game the best of luck. No one more or less than others and it was a great game
Cody: Well Josh I really hated to see you go so soon but who knows we may see you back in a couple of months for All-Stars.
Josh: Count me in!!
Josh: lol
Cody: Well again thank you Josh and I hope to talk to you again soon.
Well everyone that is the inside scoop this week. I'll see you back here next week when I speak to the next person to be voted out of China.
